Retaining its characteristic buoyancy, the Helix has been modified to become even faster whilst remaining flexible around the shoulders.

The Product:

BlueSeventy have brought together recent research and modified their legendary Helix suit to create their 2016 model: with tiered panels for a more efficient downhill swimming position. The suit's buoyancy panels lift the body without interrupting the pull or glide phase of your swim stroke.

Key features:

• Yamamoto Aerodome neoprene used in the chest and torso panels of the suit in a tiered buoyancy of 5-5-4 – helping your body remain higher in the water.
• Torsional Stretch Technology panels on the shoulders – providing excellent mobility.
• The only suit to use 1mm neoprene in the arms and permeable fabric in the catch panels to give you a better feel for the water through the suit – creating the sensation of a second skin as opposed to a thick wetsuit.
• A reverse zipper prevents chaffing and makes for a quicker exit.
• Aquaseal cuffs seal the wrists from excess water entry.
• Honeycomb Aqua Feel panels on the forearms help you become aware of your arm’s position in the water – encouraging a better technique and reducing the risk of injury.
• Quick leg exits – enabling a faster transition.
