Assos - Equipe RS Rapidfire LS Chronosuit S9 - Black Series

The best possible balance between speed and grip. This is the premise Assos follows when revising its racing suits. For the development of the EQUIPE RS Rapidfire LS Chronosuit, Assos already has an extremely fast starting point with the SpeedFire Chronosuit. As with all equipment for the lower body from the S9 family, the Rapidfire LS Chronosuit also uses the A-Lock Engineering excellent frame structure. It gives the shorts the right shape and provides stable support even in the toughest and fastest races. Only two sections of fabric have been used and the main part is the "butterfly" which completely surrounds the legs and converges on the back to form the ergoBox structure. This design effectively holds the pad in place and wraps your legs in comfort. The elaborate fabric Type.701 Compressor was used for this purpose: The ultra-thin yarn with enormous elasticity creates an almost frictionless fabric and thus offers you outstanding comfort while supporting the muscles at the same time. In other words: Type.701 becomes your second skin and offers you outstanding structural support, breathability as well as a silky-smooth feeling along the lower back and thighs. The brand-new CHRONO RS S9, which is the result of the proven EQUIPE RS S9, is integrated here as an insert. To accommodate the time-trial-specific, strongly forward-curving seating position, Assos has shortened the rear cushion by 3 cm and moved the 9 mm thick superAir microShock foam layer to the front. For the upper part of the body, Assos has oriented itself on the proven Cube material of the SpeedFire, which is characterised by an elastic jacquard 3D knit structure that has been tested in the wind tunnel for speed with lower air resistance. A uniquely positioned zipper along the back on the left side rounds off the suit and ensures that the windproof 3D material is worn on the front without its properties being adversely affected by a centrally positioned closure.
