A hydrodynamic wetsuit that offers optimum speed and agility with 3:5mm buoyancy for those who suffer from sinking legs.
The Albacore Range:
The Albacore Range was originally inspired by the work of US researchers in the 1950s who aimed to make the most hydrodynamic and agile submarine in the world - The Albacore. HUUB have taken this fusion of science, research and reality and used it as inspiration for their Albacore project, with a mission to develop the fastest products both in and out of the water.
The Albacore 3:5 Wetsuit is a full sleeved advanced wetsuit that gives athletes intelligent buoyancy and increased agility during open water events, triathlons and other sporting events. Unlike the 4:4 version, the 3:5 is designed with 3mm material on the upper body and 5mm material on the lower body to support those swimmers who suffer from sinking legs. With this ratio of buoyancy your legs will feel incredibly weightless, which will help you to increase the power of your performance as your energy will be used to propel yourself forward instead of wasted keeping your legs at the surface of the water.
Amongst its features, the suit features HUUB's unique Calf Release that promote a better kick and faster suit removal. The Kinetic Release on the arms of the suit promote arm stroke efficiency and there are high buoyancy panels around the hips and core to lift your hips in the water.
The neoprene used to make the suit is 40% more buoyant that standard neoprenes and the suit has been designed with a 'no suit feel' modulus under each arm to support a natural swim and movement in the water.
HUUB's new and improved neckline has been utilised to improve comfort and flexibility. The suit comes with a breakaway zipper.
Awarded Best Tri-Suit Brand of 2016, HUUB are at the forefront of sports science and design, producing triathlon clothing worn by elite athletes. The brand of choice for the Brownlee brothers and Helen Jenkins, HUUB are constantly researching innovative ways to maximise the potential of the athletes who wear their products.
