Replacement freewheeling hub for Saris direct drive trainers
A cycle freehub is designed to link up to an indoor trainer, to help you simulate a wide variety of riding conditions, by using a ratchet mechanism.
A set of sprockets is mounted onto the shaft of the freehub to engage your bike's chain.
In contrast to a freewheel, the ratcheting mechanism is a part of the hub.
Saris' own freehub is intended to mimic the system now common on many road bikes, so you can get an exact replica of your road-cycling experience in warmth and comfort, all year round.

About Saris
Saris hails from bike-crazy Madison, Wisconsin. From its roots in making curtain rods, the Graber brothers sold their company, then came up with their first bike rack. They sold lots of racks under the Graber name and then sold the company. New owners introduced a high end brand of bike rack in the early 1990s, renaming them 'Saris'.
Today Saris supplies its products to 30 countries, having acquired the Cycleops bike trainer brand, then setting out to improve on the design. In 2002 they debuted the world’s first progressive resistance magnetic trainer.
