A combination of precise patterning and sharp finishing details deliver the next generation of ASSOS speed and race-ready comfort.

Enhancing what's become the venerable Equipe RS Jersey was no small task, something we approached by addressing the smallest details, those which add up when every second counts. The resulting Aero SS Jersey does just that, combining micro-adjusted patterning and sharp finishing touches which are the hallmark of the next phase of ASSOS aerodynamics, one its developers are calling aeroFit.

The designers started by applying ASSOS' proven circular knit, miniCheck Tex, a highly elastic 3D knit fabric that’s been specifically developed with breathability and moisture transfer in mind. The back of the shirt incorporates the unique Stabilizer textile, which secures the jersey in place thanks its limited vertical-stretch composition.

The aggressive position speed-focused riders take also came into play for the choice of material used in the new raw+ bonded sleeves, yoke and pockets, which needed to be as smooth and flexible as possible. The resulting fine-gauge warp-knit textile was just the ticket, providing high UV protection (UPF 50+) along with quick-drying, bi-stretch properties.

Beyond the more precise aeroFit patterning, additional fine details are also intended to improve both your speed and comfort. In the front, the ultralight bonded camlock zipper, taped waist, and the combination of raw + bonded sleeves for both comfort and hold work together to achieve this aim. In the back you get ASSOS' proven triple ramp pockets to lock in your cargo, while a lighter elastic on the hem brings further weight savings.

Key Features

aeroFit: ASSOS' trimmest, speed-focused cut that’s tighter and more compressive than the previous racingFit. While you might feel that it's restrictive out of the riding position, it will feel like a second skin when you're riding.

miniCheck Tex: An open 3D knit fabric that has truly exceptional breathability. Despite being quick-drying and super-light, the material also offers UPF 25 protection. Built-in odorControl also gives you durability and hygiene.

Push Pull: The pockets and sleeves are made of ASSOS' own-developed Push Pull warp-knit textile with high UV protection (UPF 50+). Highly breathable, this fine gauge knit with bi-stretch is quick drying and very comfortable.

Stabiliser: Featherweight but strong material, perfect for creating a cooling panel on the back of the jersey. Maintains stability and alignment, and gives UPF30-level protection, despite its minimal weight and volume.

Triple Ramp Pockets: A special storage design created by ASSOS which features three textile-lidded pockets, each optimally located for ease of access, and guaranteed to stay stable and secure. There's also an earphones hole in right pocket, and the edges feature micro-perforated bonded reflex for visibility.

Bonded Zipper: Your temperature is controlled courtesy of an ultralight bonded full-length zipper with camlock. A micro-injected neck tab stabilises the fabric so you can open and close the zipper single-handed.

Raw Cut + Bonded Sleeves: Smooth wrap front with a bonded rear strikes the best balance between comfort and stability.

Taped Waist: Bonded edges give added refinement to the fit on your body as well as improved aerodynamics.

Lightweight Rear Hem: A wide, secure elastic hem ensures a frictionless fit while riding. This version is also lighter and more breathable than previous generation.
