Blue Seventy Thermal Neoprene Skull Cap
Blue Seventy's Thermal Skull Cap for 2017 - with new zirconium fibres for greater protection against heat loss.
The Product:
This Thermal Neoprene Skull Cap is Blue Seventy's warmer take on the classic Skull Cap. The unique combination of a hollowed wool liner made with yarn fibres (made of zirconium) on cap's internal jersey helps provide maximum protection against the cold.
The wool liner's material helps to reduce water absorption, which in turn creates an extra layer between you and the cold air. This additional boundary layer protects against heat loss, which is incredibly important during open water swims where the conditions are very cold. Blue Seventy's Thermal Cap is a great choice when putting together the perfect kit to fight the cold.
Key Features:
-
FLEXIBLE - a central panel provides an enhanced fit.
- WARM - the 3mm neoprene is both SCS coated and has a zirconium lining for extra insulation. The New Zealand Merino wool lining offers another level or warmth.
- SECURE - the strap ensure the hat won't move about upon your head whilst also providing extra warmth around your ears and chin.

Comfortable and warm
The cap is well made with a comfortable wool inner lining. It is really keeping my head warm in the cold UK water. I followed the size guide and the fit is great for me.

Blue Seventy thermal cap
Great product, but sizes come up a little small. Ordered a medium as per sizing guide but it was much too tight under the chin so changed it for a large. Still a bit tight under the chin but am getting used to it. Otherwise comfy.
