When tights are too warm and shorts too cool, the UMA GT Spring/Autumn Half Knickers are the perfect halfway house. Their light insulation, breathability and extended coverage keep you spinning in total comfort during spring and autumn’s cooler days.

Perfect for cool spring and autumn rides where knee coverage and a touch of insulation are just the small extras you need, these knickers feature a blend of ultra-soft and insulating fabrics, along with our proven female-specific insert and signature fit.

To make knickers that would meet the demands of the cooler yet variable conditions of the 'shoulder' seasons, ASSOS turned to new textiles specifically for the task. RX EVO makes up the majority of the paneling - an evolution of the manufacturer's widely-used workhorse RX material - and features an ECO water-repellent treatment for protection from light rain or sleet. The backs of the legs are made up of RX Light to offer breathability in this high-flex zone, with both brushed-back textiles remaining ultra-soft against the skin. 

The fit is lightly compressive in the places where it needs to be, but not as tight as the company's racingFit range. The fabric panels flex with each pedal stroke, as they’re both pre-shaped and sewn to fully wrap and support your upper and lower leg muscles as they move. The insert is made from the company's UMA GT for plush, total comfort on every ride, and the fold-over 2L Waist design smoothly wraps across your abdominal area for a secure, pressure-free fit.

GARMENT TECHNOLOGIES 

RX EVO: A brushed warp-knit fabric developed to provide exceptional comfort, wick moisture, add high levels of insulation, and remain extremely flexible. 250g/m2, ECO water-repellent, and odorControl.

RX EVO Light: Lightweight, asymmetrical-stretch warp-knit fabric developed to provide light insulation and boost comfort in high-flex areas. 220g/m2, ECO water-repellent, and odorControl.

Aerofit: An ultrasoft warp-knit applied to the waist, knitted with an open structure for maximum ventilation and featuring high elasticity plus built-in odorControl.

UMA GT EVO: The UMA elastic interface insert, evolved. New black colorway, and our proven memory foam, this female-specific insert is nestled at the intersection between comfort and performance.

3D waffle: A patented, three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

goldenGate: This patented technology interrupts the stitching along both of the insert’s side panels, allowing a more three-dimensional freedom of movement in this sensitive, rotational area.

2L Waist: Fold-over front panel design creates a smooth, pressure-free transition between the body and fabric.

Reflective Accents: Small strips placed on the backs of the legs for added visibility.

regularFit: Optimised for total comfort in the riding position, with a more relaxed cut than ASSOS' second-skin racingFit.

Composition: 85% Polyamide, 15% Elastane
