Zone3 Aspire Wetsuit

The Aspire wetsuit has built upon its world-renowned reputation year after year, receiving numerous accolades from the Triathlon industry. In its early years, it scored an impressive 10 out of 10 rating in both Triathlete Europe and 220 Magazine. Recently, it received a 95% rating and the prestigious BEST BUY award, continuing to earn praise for its excellent fit, remarkable flexibility around the shoulders, carefully balanced buoyancy, and easy removal.

In the past two years, further research and development has been conducted, resulting in an updated version of the Aspire being launched in *. While the core features that made the Aspire so popular remain integrated, new features have been added to enhance performance and comfort. These new features include improved flexibility, buoyancy, and comfort.

The new integrated one-piece shoulder and chest panel design increases the total area of 1.5mm Yamamoto SCS material, providing a better fit around the shoulders and chest, and increasing the flexibility and distance achieved with each stroke. The addition of Aerodome materials on the leg side panels and hips also supports the core leg muscles further, making the Aspire more buoyant than ever before.

To further enhance comfort, the new version includes a laser-cut collar, allowing for a tighter fit without any discomfort around the neck. Along with these improvements, the Aspire is packed with other features designed to promote the fastest and most energy-efficient swim possible.

The best bits:

  • One of the highest rated wetsuits of the last decade
  • New Aerodrome Buoyancy panels on the legs and hips for up to 30% more buoyancy than standard neoprene.
  • New Laser-Cut collar designed for a more comfortable ‘soft-seal’.
  • 100% Yamamoto materials
  • Designed for a fast, smooth and natural feeling swim.

The Aspire wetsuit has been providing an exceptional swimming experience to athletes of all levels since its launch in 2008. It is an ideal suit for beginners, as well as professional athletes. As per the reviews, "Swimming in the Aspire is every bit as comfortable and energy-efficient as swimming in suits costing twice as much." The Aspire stands out from the rest, and anyone who has swum in it can attest to this fact. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask anyone who has used the Aspire to explain what makes it so exceptional.

Orca Athlex Flow

The Athlex Flow triathlon wetsuit offers an ideal combination of elasticity and buoyancy for swimmers. The upper body features high-elasticity materials while the legs incorporate buoyancy technologies, allowing swimmers to adjust their posture and move through the water more efficiently.

The use of Yamamoto 39 neoprene and Infinity Skin 2 lining in the 39+ version provides swimmers with maximum freedom of movement in open water. Fast movements require 35% less force compared to traditional neoprene, while wider strokes and slower movements require 45% less force. Additionally, the SCS coating minimises water resistance and friction, improving hydrodynamics and increasing speed.

The 39 FS version brings together Yamamoto 39 neoprene, Infinity Skin 2 lining, and Smooth Skin surface finish, offering elasticity, flexibility, and freedom of movement. Swimmers will use 35% less force in fast movements and short strokes, while slower and wider movements require 45% less force than traditional neoprene.

Orca's Aerodome technology enhances buoyancy in the lower body, providing swimmers with 30% more buoyancy. The technology features hundreds of pockets between two layers of pre-treated neoprene, and the inner layer is composed of high-quality lining for added elasticity. Orca strategically applies this technology to specific areas to facilitate proper rotation and enhance the swimmer's performance.
