Swim On - Gear Up For Your OpenWaterSwim
Posted by Karen Di Felice on 9th Apr 2016
As we head to the beginning of the Triathlon Season many of you will be planning your open water swim training. So what to wear in those early season swim sessions?
Wetsuits trap a thin layer of water in between you and the neoprene. Your body quickly warms up this water which keeps you warmer when immersed in cold water. You may also want to consider the new innovative BlueSeventy Thermal Helix Wetsuit
The neoprene protects you from the cold water, plus you get the benefits of resistance training while preserving hand dexterity
They fit snugly to minimise water entry keeping those extremities as warm as possible
A necessity if you really want to stay warmer
Keep warmer with an extra layer under your wetsuit
Save money when you buy a neoprene swim bundle (Hat, Gloves and Socks)
