A race jacket for when the seasons are changing

Blurring the lines between a thermal long-sleeved jersey and low-volume softshell, ASSOA believes the Spring/Autumn Jacket launches a new category of race equipment, specifically tuned for demanding spring and autumn conditions.

Often in colder races in spring and autumn, a thermal short-sleeved jersey, arm warmers, and vest combo isn’t enough.

So ASSOS came up with a warmer option - its EQUIPE RS Spring/Autumn Jacket. And while it looks similar to their existing Spring/Autumn Aero SS Jersey, it’s a completely different animal.

The double-layer twinDeck construction - made using ASSOS' Push Pull exterior and a more insulating four-sided area on the inside, the jacket locks out the cold and creates a pocket of insulating air between the layers, while still remaining exceptionally breathable.

The first thing you’ll notice are two 'valves' on the fronts of the shoulders. This ASSOS-exclusive feature acts like a set of air vents, drawing in air from the outside and injecting it between the jersey’s two layers of fabric.

When you're riding on the limit, preserving a tucked profile yet still needing a touch of body-cooling ventilation, unzipping isn’t always the best option. This design solves that issue of overheating, with its ability to regulate your core body temperature without sacrificing aerodynamics.

The sleeves are made using the ASSOS SONIC textile, a highly elastic, ribbed fabric that both moulds to your arms and delivers light insulation with its brushed construction. The cuffs have been finished with a raw-cut design, which seamlessly pairs with gloves to maintain a sleek, aerodynamic profile. 

The set of features is completed by colour-coded Triple Ramp Pockets, metal camlock zipper, and ultra-light ribbed rear hem.

GARMENT FEATURES 

Push Pull: The main fabric is ASSOS' own Push Pull warp-knit textile with high UV protection (UPF 50+). Highly breathable, this fine gauge knit with bi-stretch is quick drying and very comfortable.

Rhombus: Skin-facing polypropylene terry with smooth jacquard, this material features a 3D diamond net construction to promote airflow, wick moisture, and add an extra layer of insulation.

twinDeck: Double-layer fabric construction boosts insulation uses a combination of Push Pull and Rhombus textiles. Employed on the front panel and upper back.

SONIC-SN: The sleeves are made with this highly elastic ribbed fabric, which creates a second-skin fit and features a brushed micro-sanded face for added thermal protection.

Diffusor: An ASSOS-exclusive sewing construction that creates dual 'valves' on the fronts of the shoulders, drawing in cool air for added ventilation.

Double-Slider Zipper: Reversed camlock design, metal construction, with stabilizer tab at the top to facilitate one-handed operation.

Triple Ramp Pockets: Our storage design with three textile-lidded pockets optimally located for ease of access; color-coded and featuring a micro-perforated bonded tape for visibility.

Raw-Cut Cuffs: These, plus their silicon treatment, create a smooth, aerodynamic design that seamlessly integrates with gloves and additional layers.

Ribbed Rear Hem: A wide, ribbed elastic hem ensures a comfortable and secure fit.

aeroFit: The trimmest, speed-focused fit from ASSOS that’s tighter and more compressive than its racingFit. While this may feel restrictive out of the riding position, it feels like a second skin while riding.
