Posted by Alannah Wall on 4th Mar 2026

If you've been trying to find the best pair of bib shorts, then you may have noticed that ASSOS has been dominating the market. Their range extends from beginner basics to professional attire. From caps and sunglasses, to jerseys and bibs, they have truly mastered it all.

For 2026, ASSOS have updated one of their most popular endurance bib shorts, introducing new and improved features and, for the first time ever in the MILLE GT line, multiple colour options!

Whether you're looking for something to replace your old pair of bibs or buying your first premium cycling bib shorts, here is absolutely everything you need to know.

The New Assos MILLE GT Bib Shorts S11 (2026)

The MILLE GT S11 represents the next generation of ASSOS' most accessible endurance bib short, designed for long training rides, events and everyday performance comfort.

ASSOS Bibs over bridge

ASSOS has refinded the S11 with improvements to comfort, insert breathability and long ride stability, all whilst maintaining the brand's reputation for exceptional build quality.

Key Highlights

Refined S11 Textile  Construction

The S11 generation of bibs introduces an updated fabric construction, engineered to balance muscle support whilst remaining aerodynamic. Never before have you experienced a comfortable fit like this that still allows you to slice through the wind.

Updated Ergonomic Fit

ASSOS continues to refine their signature regularFit endurance cut, ensuring the shorts fit comfortably without an aggresive compression.

Improved Chamois Performance

Chamois have always been a strong point of ASSOS, but still they manage to find ways to improve! Engineered to specifically improved shock-absorption and breathability, you can spend hours on the bike without even realising it.

Stabilised Leg Construction

Improved leg panels and grippers mean that you can maintain an ideal riding positon without needing to excessively adjust or feel pressure.

Brand New Colour Options

Perhaps the most important part, for the first time ever, the MILLE GT bib shorts are available in multiple colours!

  • Black serious, for the classics amongst your
  • Moss green, for the ones who want to blend in with the trees
  • Burgundy red, for the ones who want to stand out
  • Wild Brown, for the ones who want a sharp look that goes with everything!

For a rider who loves ASSOS, but perhaps is a bit fed up only being able to adjust the top half of the outfit, this is a major change that has been long overdue.

The Final Verdict

Want my honest opinion? The biggest changes are in the fabric and the colours. The colours are pretty obvious, you just aren't getting a different colour in the older version, black is the only choice. The fabric though? There has been such an upgrade from the C2 to S11 in terms of breathability, panel integration and the overall comfort that if you want a more supportive bib short, the choice is pretty obvious.

Importantly, the MILLE GT has remained as ASSOS' endurance workhorse, designed specifically for riders who prioritise comfort and durability over pure race compression. These bibs have been made to be futureproof and reliable for the everyday rider, which is incomparable to the older model.
