As Tim Don donned these goggles his own, Zone3 are ever improving their impressive goggle range and never disappoint, not even for professional triathletes; this doesn't change for the new vapour goggles. Let's take a look into the product and see what exactly makes them so special this season.
First of all, the goggles do not disappoint in style. With 5 colour options available, there are plenty to choose from allowing you to match your eye-wear to the rest of your gear.
Whether you're a swimmer, a triathlete or SwimRunner, these goggles provide fantastic eye protection from the water thanks to comfort focused eye sockets using an ultra soft silicone, which are highly adequate at keeping the water away from your eyes.
When we say they're comfy, they feel far different to your usual pair which dig into your eye socket; even for extended periods of time they retain their nice fit allowing you to get on with your swimming, irritating goggles aside.
Photochromatic Technology
The vapour's lenses are photochromatic meaning they adapt to different lighting conditions to give you optimal vision. Whether you're indoors, outside, it's night, it's day - it doesn't matter. These lenses adapt to the light they receive and provide you with perfect clarity, which is why Tim Don himself uses them for his events.
Alongside this, the goggles also feature large curved lenses giving an excellent field of vision allowing you to, carefully navigate your direction and spot any other swimmers. If you are unlucky enough to get hit during a mass participation swim then the ultra-soft silicone gaskets will cushion the blow, whilst also minimising pressure around the eyes keeping you comfortable on those long swims.
Anti-fog protection gives crystal clear vision whilst the polarised lenses minimise the suns glare. The flexible silicon frame of the goggles and easy adjust straps means they fit a wide range of head and face sizes.
