Huub Anemoi Aero Triathlon Suit

Huub have held their place as one of the most popular triathlon brands to date. This year, they unveiled their new, top-end Anemoi Trisuit which, in their own words, has "re-written the rulebook" for triathlon gear. They say the Anemoi is grounds for more technological developments in the future, and that we should expect more from them in the coming months and years. But does it live up to the expectations?

The R&D work and wind-tunnel time that’s gone into Huub’s new top-billing tri-suit (as worn by Alistair Brownlee and David McNamee) is evident from the get-go, with air disruptor hems on the legs and ribbed arms included in the name of speed. It feels fast in the pool and on the bike, but what also makes this garment a landmark release is how comfortable it is for a speed suit, with barely-restricted limb movements provided by the stretchy fabric. 

In appearance, the suit doesn't disappoint either. Care has been taken to give it a very sleek look, with red accents stretching around to the back making it stylish as well as extremely functional for a high-end suit.

There are two colour options available which make slight changes primarily to the arm and shoulder sections. One is the Black and White model, seen here on the right, and the other is Black and Petrol which is a light grey instead; its name comes from the partnership Huub had with ex-Mercedes-AMG Petronas engineer Dan Bigham while designing the suit.

If you are a keen participator in Triathlon events, you need look no further than the Huub Anemoi. Designed with style as well as intelligent aerodynamics, it's a suit I am sure we'll hear a lot more about in the future.
