Dryobe Sizing - A Helpful Guide

Dryrobes have often been associated with being the perfect changing robe. With so much free space underneath, switching your entire outfit has never been easy when you don’t have the privilege of privacy. Realistically speaking though, a lot of people are much more satisfied just using them as a standard coat!

There are, of course, no rules when it comes to how you want to use a product that you have paid for. If you really wanted to, you could use it as a toilet seat cover! Granted though there are probably better ways to use a Dryrobe, but it is always still an option. However, one thing that many people struggling with with Dryrobes is the sizing (when using them as a coat, not a toilet seat cover).

The two main reasons that people buy a Dryrobe is to fulfil one of two needs - a coat, or a changing robe. Many people, before purchasing, assume that because they are a size medium, they should get a size medium, right? Well, you might be surprised to find out that that may not be the case for many people….

Sizing as a Changing Robe

When purchasing a Dryrobe as a changing robe, you want to ensure that there is plenty of space to wiggle around whilst getting in and out of clothes. Making sure the product is long enough means that you feel secure whilst getting changed.

Height is the primary factor when deciding what size to choose. If you do find yourself on the edge of a sizing for height though, refer to the waist/dress size for your best fit!

Sizing as a Coat

If you're more interested in using the Dryrobe as a coat, and changing room is not required, then this sizing guide will help ensure that you get a nice warm and cosy coat that doesn't feel too bulky. Height is the primary factor again when sizing, so if you find yourself between two sizes, please refer to what waist/dress size you are for the best fit.
