Lightweight hat
I had high hopes for this hat for a Ironman Nice, after a good hot 70.3 test here is what I think of it. Hat isn't a deep fit so it will be fairly high on your head and may be an issue if you have a lot of hair. The detachable neck cover is a great idea but poorly executed, it is too short to cover your neck and the width should be tapered to fit better. It did flap about a good bit too. Did it do a better job keeping me cool than my usual running visor? hard to say. Will I use this in a 30'C marathon? probably not.

Compressport Ice Cap Sunshade
Not had chance to wear the cap in warm sunny weather yet (I’m forever hopeful) but it’s comfortable, light and with a good peak to shade my eyes. So I’m expecting good things from my purchase.
