Performance-oriented, multisport socks with thick padding for ultra-cushioning and a springy feel

Taking the lead from many varieties of running shoe which have thicker soles to absorb more impact, the same principle has been applied by Compressport to its new line of socks.

Using the company's traditional highly-ventilated mesh on the top of the foot, this long-distance endurance sock adds large, extra thick pads to sensitive areas to keep your feet comfortable all day long.

Extra-thick, sweat wicking microfibre panels are fitted around the ankle and sole for a springy, fresh feel. Thicker-than-average 3D.Dots on the lower leg and ankle absorb a maximum of shocks and vibration from the ground to reduce aches.

On the mid and forefoot sections, more 3D.Dots stimulate the flow of your blood and increase your foot's grip in the shoe, while a 360-degree arch support prevents the material from twisting and increases stability.

Because your foot moves less and the sock also helps wick away sweat efficiently, you not only feel more comfortable, but also get fewer blisters and raw skin on long runs. Specific fibres act as 'hotspot preventers' to keep your feet cool, while the toe box is particularly reinforced to prevent an assortment of colourful toes and lost nails, whether you're on the road or the trail.

These socks are available in black or white.
