The Product:

The HUUB Alta Neoprene Buoyancy Shorts increase core stability and assist hip rotation for improved pool training sessions and swim times. The shorts allow natural movement in the water yet lift your hips and legs simultaneously to improve your posture whilst swimming. 

By replacing the need for a pull buoy, these shorts are a vital training tool that help to make your swim stroke as efficient as possible. When training in pools or open water, it is common to use a pull-buoy between your legs to simulate the feeling of competing when wearing a wetsuit. Pull-buoys can be awkward and can affect your stroke and kick as you try to grip the buoy between your thighs.

Designed with input from Paul Newsome (Swimsmooth), the shorts are manufactured from high grade neoprene and are constructed using the same process HUUB uses for their award-winning wetsuits. They feature HUUB's X-O Skeleton technology, 3mm neoprene on the front and rear of the shorts and 5mm neoprene on the legs and sides.

 Buoyancy shorts give a more natural feeling of buoyancy compared to a pull buoy and assist swimmers in developing their swimming with extra core support. They are often worn as open water swimmers return to the pool to provide some of the buoyancy of a wetsuit.
