The Dream Kona V2 trisuit was born out of extensive testing carried out in laboratories, wind tunnels and races.
The Italian fabric used in the back, shoulders and sleeves has been specifically designed to reduce friction with the air and to improve the triathleteÕs aerodynamics. Additionally, testing has proven that the inclusion of horizontal grooves in the back and vertical grooves in the sleeves saves an average of 8W at 40km/h.
The Dream Kona V2 trisuitÕs fabrics employ Vapour Cool technology, which helps to expel body heat and moisture more efficiently. Numerous studies have revealed that after an hour of high intensity exercise in a room at 21¼C, a triathlete wearing the Dream Kona V2 has on average a body temperature of 2¼C lower than when wearing conventional fabrics. This is a result of the silver thread that makes up the fabric in the chest and side panels, making it a highly efficient fabric in terms of the reduction of body heat. This is what makes a difference in the final stage of the race.
