The Openwater Perform FINA is the first Orca wetsuit with FINA (International Swimming Federation) certification.
This wetsuit has been designed with very technically adept swimmers in mind, who are looking for the greatest flexibility, a neutral buoyancy and thermal insulation to compete in open water.
GARMENT FEATURES
FINA Approved: This wetsuit is the first to have FINA's certification, meaning it has passed the exhaustive tests performed by FINA before they approve products. It can therefore be used in official FINA open water competitions.
Yamamoto 40 performance neoprene: Yamamoto 40 is used in the shoulders and back together with the Infinityskin lining. This material can stretch by up to 130%, more than double its original size, providing maximum performance in your swim stroke. For the wide range of movements that occur in the shoulders, it offers 72% less resistance than a conventional wetsuit.
Generous insulation: The torso features Yamamoto 39 technology which ensures that you stay warm for competitions. Its 3mm thickness together with the infinityskin lining ensure 77% more protection than if you weren't wearing a wetsuit.

ORCA - FINA PERFORM MEN'S OPENWATER WETSUIT
Perfect fit. Very stretchy neoprene. No baggy areas around armpits or crotch combined with good fit at wrists and ankles ensures you stay warm. I have had made to measure suits in the past that did not fit as well as this one. Smoothskin exterior sheds water so no windchill out of the water. You need to be careful not to come into contact with sharp or rough surfaces and with finger nails to avoid damaging the suit. Great buy.
