Orca - Vitalis Openwater Thermal wetsuit

Posted by Matthew Williamson on 25th Jul 2025

Really enjoying this wetsuit as the water temps drop below 15 degrees ( water temps bottom out at about 12 degrees here). Very comfortable and warm but a couple of initial tiny negatives. Due to the higher collar and "batwing" liner I seemed to get a bit of chaffing to the back of my neck. This may have been caused by not securing the zip draw cord low enough on the velcro closure on my first couple of swims? Also it does feel a little restrictive on the shoulders but I am generally super happy and feel it will get even more comfortable with some more wear.
