Ultra-precise fit and medium weight keep your core insulated and dry in cool weather

The Spring/Autumn Short Sleeve Skin Layer is the answer to your prayers as you pound the pavements in late autumn and early spring.

It has a female-specific cut, but has the shorter sleeves that help keep your arms completely free, and is made from a new medium-weight yarn blend.

During those colder 'shoulder season' days, light insulation arm your upper body against the elements.

This is where the Spring/Autumn short-sleeved Skin Layer scores, fine-tuned with specific yarns and a female-specific cut to keep you dry, insulated, and as comfortable as possible from the base up.

Skin Layer is a reworking of ASSOS earlier SkinFoil base layers, boasting a completely revamped design and all-new material blend.

It’s about 8% lighter than before and uses a Circular Seamless construction, which banishes irritating side seams. This creates a smooth tubular knit that’s ultra-soft against your skin.

A cool-weather-tuned blend of carbon and polypropylene yarns is used. This effectively pulls moisture away from your skin and insulates your core. An extra 3cm has been added to the neck height over the short-sleeve version is just one of many small details that show the level of detail with which this base layer has been tuned to combat specific conditions.

We also offer this product in a long-sleeved version.
