An outer layer to keep you running through extreme cold
The Women’s Winter Long-Sleeved Skin Layer pulls together an insulating knit structure and seamless construction to keep you dry and insulated from the base outwards in cold, demanding conditions.
Winter poses a specific host of challenges in the form of added cold air. To combat this, you add extra layers on your body. - but often with the penalty of extra weight.
This is where the new ASSOS Winter LS Skin Layer fills the gap, with a thicker knit, taller collar, and more stretch than the existing Spring/Autumn version for boosted insulation and flexibility under your outer apparel.
This Skin Layer is a complete revision of ASSOS' previous base layers, taking in a completely revamped, female-specific design and using a new blend of materials. The Winter Long-Sleeve is roughly 13% lighter than the previous Winter Skinfoil, relying on a circular seamless construction which has no irritating side seams.
A winter-tuned blend of carbon and polypropylene yarns plus elastane are employed, which draws moisture away from your skin and insulates your core, keeping you dry, insulated, and comfortable from the outset.
Circular Seamless knit: A tubular knit technology that’s free of side seams, creating an ultrasoft, comfortable feel against the body.
Raglan Cut: A sleeve design free of a traditional shoulder seam, continuing up to the neck for greater range of motion.
Composition: 91% polypropylene, 6% elastane, 3% carbon fibre
