What is it?
Nestled in the heart of the outdoors, the Pedalcover Slateman Triathlon is one of the 'bucket list' races in triathlon - and was named by 220Triathlon.com as the 11th greatest triathlon in the world.
The Slateman is renowned the world over for its chilly swim in the spectacular Llyn Padarn, a memorable cycle through the heart of northern Snowdonia and capped off with the daunting run through Dinorwig quarry (with the infamous zig zags spicing things up a bit).

There's more happening at the 2018 Slateman then ever before!
Saturday 19 May will see the sprint race joined by the first ever Slateman Duathlon race, which will feature the same incredible closed road cycle up and over Pen y Pass as the sprint triathlon!
On Sunday 20 May, the Classic race kicks off the hardcore action, while the the brave Slateman Savage competitors complete their weekend long endurance challenge.
